MANNY RAMIREZ ARRESTED The former outfielder Manny Ramirez was arrested Monday at his home in Weston, Fla., on charges stemming from a domestic dispute, the Broward County Sheriff’s Office said Monday night. Ramirez was arrested on one charge of “touch/strike battery,” the sheriff’s office said in a statement.
In May 2009, Ramirez was suspended for 50 games after evidence tied him to a drug called H.C.G., a fertility drug for women that can be used to produce testosterone in men.
